What people do with Toothpicks

Wonder what people do with Toothpicks?  I notice that restaurants don't offer toothpicks as much anymore.  It was something used in the 20th Century but it feels that we have moved on or even Revolutionized.

The question is what happened to all the toothpicks that were made in the past.  Here is my theory.  Check out this artists hobby and tell me if you can figure out my theory on the happenings of toothpicks.

Rock Creations

Take a look at these individual images. These natural Mother-Nature creations can bring such beautiful art to the eyes. Each one of these images have a similar attribute. I especially love the ocean looking rock, and also the pancake layered rocks. See what you see in each of these individual photos.

Dimensional Cube

If you took a look at this, what would you say it was? My professor in Computer Science brought this up. We hear of 2d boxes that have 4(2^2[2d]) verticies. If we wanted to make a cube, we would make another axis and through some complicated copying of the previous image, the cube would have 8(2^3[3d]) verticies. Now my Professor said that we could do the same thing in 4d; this means that there would be 16 verticies. I thought it was the craziest illusion ever. Try googling 4d cube.
