So I just received some illusions I noticed through text. It was fascinating reading these headlines. Most of the headlines I read, it felt as though it made sense until I read the comment right below the headline. I'm sure many of these are pure mistakes even though I feel the commenter shows how to make something mean something completely different. It kind of reminds me of Jay Leno when he shows mistakes in publications I believe Tuesday nights.

This one I caught in the SGV Tribune the other day and called the Editorial Room and asked who wrote this. It took two or three readings before the editor realized that what he was reading was impossible!!! They put in a correction the next day.

It is so interesting to me how in different contexts the headlines can mean so many different things. I did an art project last semester and i did some stuff with news paper headlines, really makes you wonder if they read through the stuff that they publish for us to read.
