Rock Creations

Take a look at these individual images. These natural Mother-Nature creations can bring such beautiful art to the eyes. Each one of these images have a similar attribute. I especially love the ocean looking rock, and also the pancake layered rocks. See what you see in each of these individual photos.

Pictures to Ponder

As I was looking at this forward. I had many curious thoughts that came into my mind. I was trying to group these pictures together but found that they were all extraordinary individually.

Dimensional Cube

If you took a look at this, what would you say it was? My professor in Computer Science brought this up. We hear of 2d boxes that have 4(2^2[2d]) verticies. If we wanted to make a cube, we would make another axis and through some complicated copying of the previous image, the cube would have 8(2^3[3d]) verticies. Now my Professor said that we could do the same thing in 4d; this means that there would be 16 verticies. I thought it was the craziest illusion ever. Try googling 4d cube.

Check the Spiral Out

I stumbled upon this image just last night and it seems amazing. Look at the image and see how many colors there are.

So exactly what colors do you see? Is it pink, orange, green and sky blue? If so, that's exactly the colors I saw at first too. Now look even harder because there are only three colors in this image. Do you know what colors the are?

In fact, the green and blue color our eyes are generating are actually the same color. Don't believe me? Put this into Paint or photoshop and use the eye drop tool to see both colors. Crazy isn't it. It still gets me.

Double Reflection

I found some of these art pieces fascinating. I couldn't find the artist name but it is fun trying to notice the different elements in each drawing. This artist seems to make drawings that are easier to see both images. I found it too easy at first, but as I looked at the images more carefully, there are a lot more details than I expected to see. My favorite aspect is that the artist brings the drawings to life and shows emotion and strength in each one of the images.

New 3D Chalk Art

Jullian Beaver has done it again. He has created many new images of 3d art pieces that boggle the mind. I love looking at his drawings. Imagine seeing these illusions right in front of your eyes.

I love this photo. Just imagine what they see from there point of view. They probably feel they are looking at the most abstract piece when we look through the camera and feel it's an actual hole in the ground.

This image took me a moment to recognize how they made the guy seem so small. It seems so much fun. I would love to just get a picture on that bottle. :)

Garage Door Art

Check out the designs you can put on your Garage Door. I'm sure you would get the entire neighborhood engaged in these eye catching illusions.

Wouldn't it be cool if it was a digital animation and you actually saw virtual fire?

This next one would probably be the one I would put up on my garage.

Uniquely Painted European Trucks

Look at these illusions that would definitely put me into a car accident if I saw it from the exact angle. :)

At first, I thought these were actual images taken of trucks driving on the road but then noticed that the background setting was the same for all of them and the angle in which the truck was taken was exactly the same. I thought it was just a student trying to play with pictures and decided to study more.
To my surprise, these are actually real designs considered in a competition sponsored by RollAd. the winner of the competition would get there digital mock-ups onto a real driving truck.

The winners of the competition are shown below.

Art Headlines, Mistake or Double Meanings?

So I just received some illusions I noticed through text. It was fascinating reading these headlines. Most of the headlines I read, it felt as though it made sense until I read the comment right below the headline. I'm sure many of these are pure mistakes even though I feel the commenter shows how to make something mean something completely different. It kind of reminds me of Jay Leno when he shows mistakes in publications I believe Tuesday nights.

Proofreading is a dying art, wouldn't you say?

Man Kills Self Before Shooting Wife and Daughter
This one I caught in the SGV Tribune the other day and called the Editorial Room and asked who wrote this. It took two or three readings before the editor realized that what he was reading was impossible!!! They put in a correction the next day.

I just couldn't help but sending this along. Too funny.

Finger Paint

This is unbelievable. See the artwork this artist did in the artist's idea of finger painting. Just take a look at the fourth painting of the eagle. It took the artist over 10 hours to paint. I think it looks exhautic and is exciting to look at, but I loose taste quickly as I scroll through the images. I think it is amazing to see such talent. I couldn't sit down and spend hours on a painting that would get washed off over night.
